Securing Level 4 by the end of Key Stage 2 - for year 5 and 6 teachers
The materials below are to help you to plan your teaching and support for children who are working on the Level 3 and Level 4 borderline in literacy and/or mathematics. The purpose is to help you to help those children who, with additional and personalised support, are able to attain Level 4 and so be ready to progress their own learning and benefit from life’s chances in the future.
The materials are structured around the PowerPoint presentations below. To access the materials directly from the Powerpoint presentations you will need to save both the presentation and an unzipped version of the materials in the same folder on your hard drive. (The materials can also be accessed directly from the materials folders)
Once you have decided which of the resources you want to access, you can click on the title on the slide and this will take you directly to the resource. Some of the resources are large and appear as zip files to conserve space on the CD. It means that you will need to unzip them to gain access to the materials.
